We replaced our Venta of 10 years. During the winter months it is used 24/7. Our plants thank us for the extra moisture! Our bodies thank us for the extra moisture and our old antique furniture is thankful also.

I am bothered by dry eyes and dry mouth due to Sjogren's Sydrome. I recently purchased a Venta for the bedroom and no longer wake up with painfully dry eyes or parched, peeling lips. This was a good investment for me!

The Venta is a first-rate product. It helps maintain humidity. I have used two for 5 or 6 years. My only difficulty is during very cold weather I must move the machine to be halfway in the hall to avoid condesation on bedroom windows even if temperature has been reduced.

I first set the airwasher at the lowest setting only at night which is what I had done with the vaporizing humidifier. It was not enough so I have changed to turning it on low in the early evening before I go to bed then turning to the highest setting when I go to bed. I still wake up with my mouth somewhat dry but my sinuses aren't complaining which is the main reason I have a humidifier. (I live in US desert southwest)
