Solid Dependable Humidfier

We purchased this model several years ago having used several other hot and cool mist units that worked awhile and died even though this unit was far more expensive. This unit has given us reliable and dependable daily service for many years and the investment was well worth it. A few months ago we accidentally dropped the unit and broke both the upper and lower cases and the supplier was most helpful in promptly getting replacements parts. Other than this abuse, the unit has been trouble free and is very quiet though the newer plus units are even more so. After repairing the cases we moved this unit to our RV as we camp frequently in the dry desert climate. The unit has been so good and reliable and the service and support so solid we opted to buy a new LW44+ and we are actively considering the purchase of an LW24+. The only reason I do not rate this unit a 5 star is the switch which is kind of mechanical versus electronic in operation - if you compare the units this will make more sense. While I like the new switch much better the bottom line is that the switch has not failed so perhaps my rating is a bit unfair. I highly recommend these Venta units.
